Consider the following position:Main tasks and responsibilities:Manage the team of L2 IT technicians based at the Sulzer entities in the SEMEA region.Manage support of local infrastructure: PCs, Network, Servers, and Telephony.Manage changes and projects effectively ensuring the project delivery with key milestones and ensuring the costs are effectively managed in accordance with the project budgets.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure we can "shift left" our IT support model.Work with local and global teams ensuring delivery with defined and agreed Operational KPIs for IT Service Management.Manage the IT spend ensuring we maximise the effectiveness of the IT services delivered and work with the business to build/track the IT budgets vs. spend for the respective legal entities.Oversee the reliability and functionality of information systems and provide technical leadership and assistance.Ensure Business Continuity for IT is in line with local and corporate IT requirements.Act as an escalation point for the business and in the role of Business Partner in the relevant countries.To succeed in this role, you will need:University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, IT Management or equivalent.3-5 years of experience in a similar role.Strong interpersonal skills with experience of working in a multi-cultured environment advantageous.Experience in a multinational organization where IT is a global function supporting multiple divisions and global functions would be a distinct advantage.Skilled in developing and managing the budgets and IT spend within the business essential.Fluency in English both spoken and written is essential – other languages also advantageous.Experience in ITSM principles on a practical level very important with ITIL knowledge/skills desirable.Participate in and support company initiatives.Support of local business applications where appropriate within the responsible locations.What we offer you:A competitive salary as well as participation in the variable remuneration system based on personal and financial objectives.Restaurant tickets.Permanent contract.Accident insurance.No visa or work permit support can be provided for this role.
