Cognitive Corporate Finance (Cognitive) is based in Madrid, Spain and is looking for a Sell-side Analyst Intern to join our dynamic execution team remotely.

Internship Overview: As a Sell-side Analyst Intern at Cognitive Corporate Finance, you will have 4 primary responsibilities:
Enhance Cognitive's Investor Database, by assisting on mapping the investment mandate criteria of a variety of Institutional Investors. Assist in drafting several Fundraising Documentation such as: Teaser, Information Memorandum, Deck, Financial Model & Valuation. Assist in fundraising transactions execution: investors filtering & shortlisting, investors outreach and investor pitching. Assist in generating new leads and clients for Cognitive Corporate Finance. This internship offers you the chance to refine your analytical skills while gaining exposure to real-world Corporate Finance advisory firm operations and live deals.
Key Responsibilities: Enhance and update the investment criteria datapoints in Cognitive's investors database. Map the investment mandate criteria of a variety of Institutional Investors such as: PE & VC Funds, Corporate VCs, Real Estate Funds, Credit Funds, Funds of Funds etc. Search and review Institutional Investors for specific Cognitive capital raising transactions or investor searches. Assist in drafting transaction documentation such as: Teasers, Decks, Info Memos, Fundraising Outreach Cover Email, financial models. Assist in investors outreach and arranging online meetings between investors and Cognitive clients. Attend online meetings and discussions with potential Institutional Investors and Cognitive clients. Gain exposure to the typical daily operations of a Corporate Finance advisory firm. Qualifications: Graduated with a Masters' level degree in the areas of Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, or enrolled in the very last semester of the Master's studies. Ability to analyze a company's financials and identify key issues therein. Understanding of the key issues and interactions between a P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement. Understanding of transaction-specific analytical tools: cash flow forecasts, sources & uses of funds, etc. Ability to make numbers "speak". Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package, especially Power Point and Excel. A genuine interest in Corporate Finance, investment funds, and deal execution process. Ability to work as part of a team. Highly motivated and detail oriented. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
