.Job descriptionA Security Solution Architect designs and builds Solution deal shapes including development of key solution plan documentation such as cost estimates, staffing plans, delivery location strategies, technical blueprints and implementation roadmaps. Additionally, this role listens deeply and seeks to understand the client context before solutioning; relentlessly focuses onclient needs, iterating with the client and/or sales team to uncover and maximize value for both Client & Avanade; and brings deep expertise in Microsoft security technologies to the solution; uses storytelling and real-world examples to effectively articulate the solution vision throughout the deal lifecycle.Come join usThis role will partner with the Sales Team, QA Directors, Delivery Team and Client to translate the client value proposition and/or solution ideas into a viable business solution that is winnable, deliverable and differentiated.Skills and experiencesProven experience defining solutions based on Microsoft Security technologies.Proven experience on deal shaping, customer value proposition development, solution architecture and estimation and planning.About youCharacteristics that can spell success for this role:You have experience working with global teams.You have strong written and spoken English skills.You may possess a technical Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, any kind of Engineering or Maths.You may possess Microsoft Azure certifications.What you will doDesign & build solution plan: understand and translate client requirements; assess relevant service/offering/capability which will address client requirements and deliver value and collaborate with other Solution Architects and SMEs as required to define the solution.Costing pricing and deal shaping: complete costing and/or pricing. Use standard solution architecture processes, methods and estimating, and modelling tools to drive quality and to minimize time to solution through process and reuse. Identify potential risks and partner with senior leadership to mitigate. Ensure that the contract preserves the solution architecture design.Support Profitable Sales: engage in early conversations with the client and support origination/deal qualification efforts. Prepare for and play a trusted advisor role. Support the sales pursuit team in commercial shaping and negotiation of contract terms and conditions, assumptions and dependencies. Collaborate with Delivery team to enable and effective and conscientious transition of solution during mobilization and stabilization or delivery phases and dependencies
