col-wideJob Description:LHC International is the leading career partner for executives in the hospitality and operational real estate industry.For our partner, a luxury hotel in Ibiza, we are looking for a Security Manager (all genders) with immediate effect or by appointment.Your Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily security operations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.Develop, implement, and monitor security policies and procedures.Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure compliance with security protocols.Act as the primary point of contact for all security-related incidents.Prepare and execute emergency response plans for various scenarios (fire, medical emergencies, evacuations).Conduct investigations into security breaches or incidents and provide detailed reports.Recruit, train, and supervise security personnel.Conduct regular training sessions on emergency procedures and security protocols.Ensure that all security staff are well-equipped and maintain a high level of readiness.Coordinate personalized security measures for VIPs and high-profile guests.Manage guest complaints or concerns related to safety and security.Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of security surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms).Monitor surveillance footage to detect and address any suspicious activities.Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations regarding hotel security.Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential threats.Work closely with law enforcement and regulatory bodies as necessary.Manage the security department's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.Allocate resources efficiently to cover all aspects of hotel security.Stay updated on the latest security technology and recommend upgrades as needed.Integrate advanced security systems into the hotel's operations (access control, biometric systems)Your SkillsExtensive experience in security management, preferably within the hospitality industry.Relevant certifications in security management or related fieldsStrong leadership skills to manage and motivate a diverse security team.Ability to make quick, decisive decisions in high-pressure situations.Excellent organizational skills for coordinating complex security operations.Knowledge of modern security technologies and surveillance systems.Ability to interpret data from security systems and develop actionable plans.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and law enforcement.Proficiency in multiple languages is often beneficial in an international setting.Keen analytical skills to assess risks and develop proactive security measures.Effective problem-solving abilities to handle incidents efficiently and discreetly.High level of integrity and discretion, particularly when dealing with sensitive information and high-profile guests.Commitment to maintaining the privacy and safety of all hotel occupants.Next stepsThis role sounds like a perfect next career step for you?
