You will be responsible for developing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining various security tools and solutions to protect Bachem from cyber threats and comply with applicable regulations.You will work closely with Cyber Security Architects, IT and OT infrastructure teams based at multiple locations.

A proven track record of delivering results in a remote work environment will be highly regarded.We are interested in talking to engaging, flexible, and solution-oriented individuals who are looking to become a part of a dynamically growing and international organization.We are focused on creating value where IT counts, join us!Tasks and ResponsibilitiesDevelops, configures, deploys, and maintains security tools and solutions to meet our business security requirements, aligned with security best practices and vendor security hardening guidelines.Comes with a broad experience in engineering security products, technologies, and capabilities such as: email security, SIEM / XDR / EDR; NGFWs / IDPs; Network security analytics; SASE; WAF; Identity, authentication and access management, OT threat management, data protection and resilience.Delivers day-to-day security administration of security solutions including troubleshooting, configuration changes, managing user access, API - application interfaces maintenance, data feeds operations, running version and security updates, security patching, in a highly regulated IT environment subject to formal change, problem and incident management processes.Monitors and analyzes security logs and alerts, identifying and responding to security incidents and threats, and remediating vulnerabilities in security solutions in your scope of responsibility.Maintains administrative standard operating procedures, working instructions, and knowledge articles up to date and after changes and upgrades in line with the IT compliance framework.Educates and trains end-users of the security solutions in your scope of responsibility.Complies with requirements set forth in applicable information security controls, performs and takes part in controls maturity assessments and audits for the security solutions in scope of your responsibility.Desirable: Has experience in engineering, deploying, and administering security solutions in line with GXP compliance requirements.RequirementsMinimum of 10 years of professional experience in information technology, at least 5 years as a security engineer and administrator, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other manufacturing organizations.Bachelor's or Master's degree in information security, or in Information Technology.Relevant security engineering and administration certifications, and security professional certifications e.g.
