In this position, you will assist in protecting Equifax's consumer data through proactive reviews of external transactions across multiple business units to identify noncompliance with consumer reporting laws and Equifax policy. You will perform a re-credential function to ensure that customers continue to have a permissible use of consumer data. You will ask questions and seek to gain a better understanding of the customer's business in order to make an informed decision as to whether provided evidence is sufficient to document a permissible use of consumer data. You will communicate (verbally and written) with customers in sometimes difficult situations regarding actions taken by Equifax (e.g., suspension of service) and be capable of providing feedback or improvement opportunities when applicable. You will conduct background investigations and handle discrete sets of information to ensure the customer is operating a valid business and substantiate that there is an allowable purpose for access to consumer data.
