Secondary Teacher of Mathematics with ICT The English School wishes to recruit an enthusiastic Secondary teacher of Mathematics, who is suitably qualified to teach across the secondary age and ability range, including IGCSE and A-Level Maths.
The ability to also teach ICT in Key Stage 3 will be considered an advantage.

We now seek for September 2024 an enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics, ideally with the ability to also teach ICT in Key Stage 3.
Candidates should be fully qualified to teach mathematics from 11 to 18, including IGCSE and A-level.
We are particularly interested in hearing from teachers who can deliver the curriculum with a practical focus, and who are committed to developing the independent learning and thinking skills of our students.

A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
C2/Mother tongue level of English.
Secure subject knowledge to teach Mathematics across the secondary age range, including IGCSE and A-Level.
An ability to challenge all students to achieve excellent progress, in accordance with their needs.
SUBJECT TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the planning, preparing and delivering of departmental schemes of work in accordance with the National Curriculum and with students' needs.
Create an effective and stimulating learning environment.
Mark, test, assess and record in accordance with school and department policy.
Use progress data to inform subject planning.
Contribute to students' end of term reports in line with school policy.
Enforce school rules in class and at all times around the school.
Liaise with the Head of Secondary or Safeguarding officers, as appropriate, regarding any concerns about individual students.
Undertake all other reasonable duties, including break and lunchtime supervision, as requested by the Head of Secondary or Head Teacher.
