How You'll Make an Impact Development of electrical control cabinets and switchgears with associated sensors and actuators according to valid standards and project-specific customer requirements, including documentation in COMOS for hydrogen electrolysis plants.Plant integration of electrical equipment including the coordination of technical interfaces with related internal and external parties.Quality assurance (QA) as well as meeting all requirements in the field of environment, health, and safety (EHS) within assigned electrical scope and tasks.Factory testing of electrical equipment and site support for erection and commissioning.What You Bring Completed university degree in the field of electrical engineering or completed advanced training as a technician.Long-term working experience in engineering, ability to deal with the interface requirements of partners as well as proven ability for contextual, basic, and detail design of electrical cabinets or systems (ideally for industrial automation, signal processing, or plant engineering).Knowledge of relevant low voltage standards (IEC, UL/IEEE), proven working experience with E-CAD tools (e.g., COMOS, EPLAN or similar) required; experience in plant engineering, special purpose machinery construction, or similar preferred; knowledge of PCS7 automation components is an advantage.Knowledge of high current rectifier, switchgear, transformer, and other electrical equipment according to applicable standards is a plus.Experience in process plant engineering or switchgear engineering is a plus, as well as knowledge of explosion protection engineering (Ex) is an advantage.Knowledge of KKS or RDSPP standards as well as basic knowledge of process engineering (e.g., reading P&IDs) is an advantage.Fluent knowledge of English; ability to speak German is a plus.About the Team Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector.
