ProperExpression has an immediate opening for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager. Our ideal candidate is a Search Engine sage with 3+ years of dedicated SEO experience. ProperExpression is a boutique growth marketing agency servicing SMBs in the B2B and B2C space. We support our clients through a suite of services including inbound marketing, SEO, content production, marketing automation, and digital advertising. Our culture is fast-paced, team-oriented and, dare we say, fun. Clients love us for our thoughtful work that pushes boundaries as well as sales. We're headquartered outside of Washington, DC but this position is available remotely, world-wide, though is expected to adhere to USA East Coast time. Direct Experience:
3+ Years of Dedicated SEO-focused Experience.
Demonstrated ability to drive results through SEO: organic traffic, organic traffic lead gen, organic traffic-generated revenue.
Well-versed with SEO software such as SEMRush, Moz, Ahrefs, SiteBulb, Screaming Frog, HubSpot, etc.
Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of SEO: technical, content strategy, backlinking, etc.
Experience with Google's marketing suite of products including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Google My Business, Tag Manager, etc.
Experience with data reporting tools.
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
Experience with PPC and paid search is preferred but not required.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in the formulation of marketing strategy at the inception of a client engagement.
On page optimization.
Technical optimization.
Formulate comprehensive SEO strategies, including the construction of content frameworks and content plans that will support SEO growth.
Conduct SEO audits.
Conduct keyword research.
Hands-on SEO optimization work.
Backlink building.
Data Analysis: Create and interpret reports, providing an analytical pedigree.
Join client calls as the SEO-lead, providing consultations and updates on SEO progress.
