Job Description
We are looking for a talented and passionate Scrum Master to oversee the scrum processes used by the team. As the Scrum Master, you will be responsible for our agile processes and the scrum meetings.
Your role is to increase the dev team's efficiency, to motivate them with a clear vision and passionate drive with a delivery-driven approach.
You will be driving the implementation projects and setting standards for the team. You will guide them through the organizational structures of the company and the different agile processes used.
The ultimate goal of the Scrum Master is to facilitate the work without creating coercion, assigning or dictating the work.
The aim is also to ensure a quality environment for the employees and a timely performance of the tasks.
Responsibilities
Facilitating Scrum Events: Organize and facilitate key Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives, ensuring they are effective and productive.
Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor the Scrum Team on Scrum principles, practices, and values, helping them understand their roles and responsibilities and encouraging self-organization and cross-functionality.
Removing Impediments: Identify and remove impediments or obstacles that hinder the team's progress, ensuring they have everything they need to meet their Sprint goals and deliver high-quality increments.
Servant Leadership: Adopt a servant-leadership approach, serving the needs of the Scrum Team by facilitating collaboration, empowering decision-making, and fostering a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability.
Protecting the Team: Shield the Scrum Team from external distractions and interruptions, allowing them to focus on their work and meet their commitments.
Facilitating Collaboration: Promote collaboration and communication within the Scrum Team and across stakeholders, encouraging open dialogue, shared understanding, and collective problem-solving.
Agile Practices: Facilitate the adoption and continuous improvement of agile practices and principles within the team, helping them embrace agility, adaptability, and continuous learning.
Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and track key metrics and progress towards Sprint goals, providing visibility into the team's performance and outcomes.
Continuous Improvement: Facilitate regular retrospectives to reflect on the team's processes, practices, and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
Supporting Product Owners: Support Product Owners in managing the Product Backlog, refining user stories, and prioritizing work, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing the value delivered by the Scrum Team.
Support Release Management: Support planning and coordinating product releases.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in agile practices using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or LeSS and excellent knowledge of Atlassian software such as Jira
Excellent communication, mentoring, and analytical skills
Experience in working with remote teams
Good skills and knowledge of leadership, facilitation, teamwork
Strong collaborative problem-solving skills
A good understanding of the business and blockchain technologies
Time management skills
Fluent in English
Nice-to-have
Scrum master certification
Knowledge of testing procedures and agile methodologies for software development is a plus
Knowledge of relevant products
Interested in Fintech
Any other language is a plus
Release management experience
