Successful Candidate will be accountable for supporting active projects within the unit aiming to develop new antimalarial drugs.This will include regular evaluation of compounds, evaluation of parasite killing rates, estimation of drug resistance and development of new assays.Within this role, Candidate will work in collaboration with other members of the team and external collaborators. Therefore, excellent communication and teamwork skills and the confidence and ability to influence within the department and multi-disciplinary matrix teams are needed.Main Responsibilities :Work in a biosafety lab level 3*. evaluation of compounds in medium and high throughput format, supporting projects to develop new antimalarial drugs.Antimalarial mode of action determination and evaluation of parasite killing rates.Evaluation of established drug resistance.
