The Barcelonaßeta Brain Research Center (BBRC) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientific Administrative Assistant to support our innovative scientific teams.
As a key member of the BBRC, you'll play a crucial role in enabling our world-class researchers to focus on their groundbreaking work by managing essential administrative tasks.
What you'll do: - Act as the main link between our scientific community and administrative teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Organize travel, manage expenses, and coordinate meetings, conferences, and scientific seminars.
Collaborate closely with researchers, Principal Investigators (PIs), and administrative staff, helping manage day-to-day tasks and ensuring clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Take charge of organizing internal and external activities, from project meetings to lab seminars, and supporting major events across the center.
What we're looking for: - A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional training.
- Fluency in English, Spanish, and Catalan (spoken and written).
- 3-4 years of experience in a service-oriented environment, ideally in an international or academic setting.
- Strong IT skills (MS Office, Google Suite, Zoom, Teams) and excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and problem-solving mindset, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
