Our mission is to contribute to help more people and businesses prosper.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs an Environmental, Social and Climate Change Risk Sr. Analyst, you will perform environmental, social, and climate change risk assessments of SCIB clients and transactions and participate in projects aiming to support new ESG business initiatives and/or further embed these risks in existing risk management practices.We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:Assessment of transactions under the scope of Equator Principles IV, in coordination with business areas and Export Credit Agencies and Multilateral InstitutionsAssessment of corporate clients operating in sensitive sectors, in coordination with the local analysts and bankersAssessment of eligible sustainable finance transactions from an environmental, social, and climate change risk perspectiveParticipation in credit risk approval meetings/foraClient engagement on environmental, social, and climate change risk mattersParticipation in internal projects to develop the function (e.g., development of an internal ESG Scoring system, IT Tools and Systems)Participation in industry-wide initiatives/working groups (e.g., Equator Principles, OECD)EXPERIENCEAt least 3 years of experience in an environmental and social risk-related position, or in a credit risk or compliance position with experience dealing with sensitive sectors and transactions.EDUCATIONBachelor/MSc in Environmental Science; Geology; Biology; Agricultural, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
Business Administration or other ESG-linked educational backgrounds could also be considered.SKILLS KNOWLEDGEProfessional understanding of environmental, social, and climate change factors and their associated risksKnowledge of international ES/ESG frameworks and regulations (e.g., Equator Principles, IFC Performance Standards, EU Taxonomy, CSDDD, etc.
)Analytical skillsCommunication skillsProactivityFluent in English and Spanish.
