Job Purpose The successful candidate will be part of the Scheduling and Distribution Team responsible for the schedule optimization in the long, medium, and short term, and the publication in all relevant platforms and to all relevant stakeholders of the Flight Program.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks Produce, optimize, and maintain the flights schedule in coordination with the company's relevant business areas, ensuring network optimization while maintaining operational feasibility.
Apply constraints and limitations related to operations, commercial, slots, traffic rights, etc., to meet the operational and commercial targets of the Company.
Cooperate with all areas in identifying continuous improvements in producing the highest profitable schedules by balancing the lowest cost with the highest revenues possible.
Align and manage communication and approval processes between scheduling, Network, Commercial, Customer, and Operational areas.
Management of schedule exchanges and updates with codeshare partners.
Flights schedule update into sales systems including management of schedule changes and codeshare partnership with OAL.
Publish and update schedules in the schedule distribution platform Navitaire including passenger re-accommodation management.
Publish and update schedules to GDS and other internal and external stakeholders.
Produce and develop metrics, follow-ups, presentations, automations, and reporting.
Education Degree in engineering, economics, airline management or equivalent.
Experience More than 5 years' experience in airline related positions and particularly in Network / Slots / Scheduling is a plus.
Advanced user of Office package (specifically Excel and Power Point).
Computer programming skills is a plus.
Knowledge of Scheduling and Flight Distribution Systems , i.e., Netline, Sabre, AIMS, Navitaire, Amadeus... also a plus, not a must.
