Are you interested in applying your knowledge in the world of wind energy? Regional Support is responsible for overviewing, implementing, and managing SCADA systems.
The department collaborates with internal stakeholders and Vestas clients within Vestas MED.
It's part of the Regional Service Department and offers advanced technology in monitoring, control, and data acquisition systems for the wind technology, providing any SCADA related support to the Construction and Service Departments.
Responsibilities Commissioning of SCADA systems, configuration of SCADA Server and communications and automation equipmentHigh level support to internal and external stakeholders during Construction and Service phaseDevelopment of additional features under customer's requestKeep track of SCADA system status and update as-built documentationSupport External partners on SCADA activitiesQualifications Engineering or Technical degree in Automation, IT, Electronics, Telecommunication or similarPrevious experience in PLC programming, commissioning, and maintenance of SCADA systemsExperience on communication protocols (IEC 104, IEC 101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC DA)Knowledge and experience of networking and their configuration.
