Knowledge & Experience Required: HNC / HND in Electrical / Controls Engineering as a minimum.Desirable: Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.Experience in a similar role.Good understanding of SCADA systems and where appropriate in PLC and HMI software.Hands-on experience with process visualization systems.Good understanding in the installation and configuration of computer systems and server systems.Understanding of distributed control systems desirable not essential.Understanding of automated warehouse desirable not essential.Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering. Technical Competencies: Familiar with the PC-based process visualization system WinCC or Iconics or Ignition (at least two would be desirable).Design of graphical (user) interfaces.Creation of advanced engineering (editors or functions: Tag, Graphics, Alarm, Server / Client, Redundancy, Web Navigator, Multi-Server).Experience in Visual Basic Script (VBS), Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and the programming language C, C++.Carrying out project migrations and designing interfaces.Creative and innovative way of thinking. The role requires a willingness to travel approximately 30% to our customer locations within the EMEA European region.
