How to contribute to our visionSCADA ConfiguratorWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated SCADA Configurator to join our SCADA project support team within Offshore Engineering.
In this key role, you will be responsible for designing and configuring software solutions for our SCADA platform, used across all offshore execution projects.
Tasks & Responsibilities:As one of our SCADA Configuration Engineers, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality technical solutions for Offshore SCADA projects, ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will contribute to the design and configuration of SCADA systems and managing medium- to large-sized wind power plants and be responsible for the project-specific SCADA configuration.
Your key responsibilities include:
Configuring and deploying project-specific software solutions.Managing verification and patching of installed and configured software.Creating project documentation, such as tag lists, configuration guidelines, and more, for Offshore SCADA systems.Actively supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for Offshore SCADA systems.Providing back-office support to onsite turbine commissioning teams.Provide constructive feedback for ongoing product development and improvements to SGRE SCADA solutions.Skills & Experience:You should have a relevant background within SCADA, particularly in configuration and deployment, along with practical experience in:
Data Center environments (e.g., HPE servers, VMware, backup, and restore features).Configuring and managing communication protocols, especially IEC104, RESTful API and OPC UA.Microsoft-based server and database technologies.Troubleshooting and the ability to contribute to resolution plans.Create and maintaining technical documentation for site specific SCADA solutions.Additional skills include experience with IT systems and providing technical support to users with varying levels of experience.
