The role in a nutshell In this role, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for ensuring the daily operational availability of SAP, optimizing the system, identifying new opportunities to enhance the system, and implementing projects to service our global business.
Within our global support team, you will be responsible for the administration of the SAP application security and authorization.
You will resolve any security issues by following standardized procedures, ensuring SAP is properly secured and complies with our policies.
More specifically, you will be expected to: Do you have what it takes? Language : As you will be part of a global team, you must be able to communicate fluently in English (verbal and written). Knowledge of other languages such as French, German and/or Spanish is desirable.
Travel: Some occasional travelling will be required.

Get to know us Recently, Glencore's Zinc division has embarked in a system replacement globally with the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA and Coupa as the main backbone to support industrial business operations globally. The solution has been deployed in some parts of the business in Q4 2023 and we are continuing our journey to roll-out the global solution to all sites to cover Australia, Spain, UK, Germany, Italy and Canada.
The global AMS team is formed by functional teams located in the north of Spain, Australia and Canada, combined with a central team located in Malaga. This new Group supports the business users globally from an applications management support perspective.
