The Consultancy Group are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Lead to join our dynamic team in Barcelona to support in our SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, overseeing the end-to-end data migration process. This role requires a deep understanding of data migration methodologies, SAP S/4HANA, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Data Migration Projects: Manage and oversee all aspects of data migration for SAP S/4HANA implementation, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives.Strategy and Planning: Develop data migration strategies, plans, and methodologies tailored to project requirements and best practices.Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL): Oversee the ETL processes, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards.Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to gather requirements, define data migration scope, and ensure successful execution.Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the data migration process and implement mitigation strategies to address them proactively.Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce data quality standards and validation procedures to ensure the reliability and accuracy of migrated data.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data migration processes, methodologies, and outcomes.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in SAP S/4HANA data migration, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.RequirementsMinimum of 7-10 years of experience in data migration projects, with at least 3-5 years specifically in SAP S/4HANA.Proven track record of leading data migration teams in large-scale SAP implementations.Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA data structures and ETL tools.Strong knowledge of data migration tools such as SAP Data Services, LSMW, and custom ETL solutions.Experience with SQL, data profiling, and data quality tools.Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
