Job Description The Local Data Coordinator (LDC) will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful migration of data to our target SAP systems.
This position will support local data experts, define data migration strategies, and act as a bridge between local, global colleagues, and the data migration team.
The LDC will be responsible for tracking data cleansing, profiling, and reporting to project management while ensuring the migration process is efficient and meets all defined requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Support and Guidance: Assist local data experts in drafting requirements for data migration.
Provide clear explanations of the data migration process and target SAP systems.
Strategy and Analysis: Define and implement a robust data migration strategy.
Obtain data profiling reports, analyze the data, and provide insights.
Data Cleansing: Support local teams with data cleansing requirements.
Track the progress of data cleansing efforts and report findings to the project management team.
Coordination and Communication: Serve as a liaison between the data migration team, and local and global colleagues.
Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the migration process.
Quality Assurance: Review the rules defined in migration requirements and ensure their correct implementation in ETL tools.
Support migration testing activities, including preparing test cases and following the testing process.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in data migration projects, preferably involving SAP systems.
Strong understanding of data profiling, data cleansing, and data quality management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both local and global teams.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in using ETL tools and familiarity with data migration methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools.
Experience with database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Preferred Skills: Experience in project management or a similar role.
Knowledge of SAP systems and data structures.
