To accelerate market share in MM, the purpose of the SDA Team (Sales Development Associate) is to find new customers, and ultimately support Sales to turn them into SAP Customers. We do this by leveraging innovative, digital, sales tools to give our customers a great first experience with SAP.

What you'll do Position title: SAP iXp Traineeship: Sales Development Associate for Norway, based in Barcelona, SpainLocation: Barcelona, SpainExpected start date 6 month placement (1st or 15th of October or November)In this role, you'll:
Your mission as an SDA is to help your SDE and Sales Teams to engage with customers at the right time, with the right key decision maker and the right personalized content. Your actions will enable the Sales Team to have an insightful next meeting with their customers and you will contribute to SAP's revenue growth in our MM business segment. In this role, you will impact this important part of SAP's work by learning:
How to engage with customer decision makers at C LevelEffective objection handlingBest practices in digital prospectingSAP World Class SolutionsAnd you'll do this by:
Having plenty of customer-facing time along with your SDEs and Account ExecutivesPlanning digital engagement strategies and action plans in alignment with the SDA and Sales teamsAdopting and deploying the latest marketing and sales toolsLeveraging, nurturing, and accelerating Marketing digital signals to qualify accounts, and identify prospects with the highest propensity to buyMaking sure decision-makers, in targeted companies, have all relevant details and messages to drive the decision processBeing at SAP's cutting edge for driving digital transformation and innovationLooking for additional opportunities to further enhance prospect contact such as digital activities and eventsBeing proactively involved in your own succession planning by acting as an SDA Advocate, such as promotion via social media, university, job boards, etc.The Perks The traineeship is paidAbility to grow within the company after your studies (90% of some teams are ex trainees and we have over 55% conversion rate!)Dedicated Managers (Operational SDE Manager and Trainee Program Manager)Be part of a European-wide SDA CommunitySpecific onboarding and learning frameworkGet familiar with key digital marketing and sales toolsExperience in working at a big international companyWho you are We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You will ideally be in the last stages of your education and ready for your first career step, so you could be a bachelor's or master's student, or even recently graduated (we will need to have an internship agreement with a university)Your study field should have a commercial focus such as Business Administration, Management, Sales and Marketing, and IT/Digital TransformationYou are ready to commit to a full-time placement of 6 monthsYou possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPointYou pay attention to details as well as the ability to deliver highly qualitative work and resultsYou are strongly driven, proactive with a problem-solving and adaptable mindsetYou work well within a diverse team as well as being able to work independentlyYou have a capacity to listen actively to understand assignments and identify priorities to be able to deliver expected resultsLanguage requirements You speak Norwegian, with a high level of Business English
