SAP Basis Administrator needed for a long term contract position with an international client, working fully remote OR onsite in Valencia, Spain.
Starting with a 6 month contract, this role has the potential to extend for 2+ years.
The client is seeking candidates at junior and senior levels, both with proven SAP and HANA basis administration experience.
Single stage interviews will take place in November with a view to onboard the selected candidate in December 2024 or January 2025.
SAP Basis duties will include:
Support the installation, maintenance and ongoing operations of multiple SAP systems residing on Windows & Linux / Oracle & HANA platforms in a virtualized environment.Perform SAP application installations, application of patches, upgrades, and production support for multiple SAP products (e.g., ECC, BI, SCM, Solution Manager, Enterprise Portal, PI, etc.
).HANA administration, including setting up and managing HA and replica of HANA nodes.Perform regular day-to-day administration and support tasks.Monitor, identify and implement Oracle/HANA database performance improvements as required by the SAP systems.Standard working week (CET time zone) plus participation in planned 24x7 on-call rotation.
You will have (depending on the level of experience - junior or senior):Working experience with latest versions of the following products: ECC, BO, BI, PI, Portal, Solman, SLT, SRM, CRM, Fiori, TM, EM, GRC, Redwood, IDM, HANA, NWDI and Java administration.4+ years of experience with Oracle database administration; 2+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems administration.Required working experience on SAP HANA and HANA enterprise DB, and related High Availability setup, configurations, and maintenance.Good understanding of SAP Security.Good understanding of network concepts.Nice to have: SAP certifications on administrations on components like – ECC, Netweaver, Solution Manager, Portal, HANA, SCM, SRM.Fluent English language skills.
