We are looking for a Senior SAP Basis System Administrator for our ICT Infrastructure team.G-STAR works with SAP ECC as our ERP system and SAP S/4 HANA for SAP EWM.
New projects are in the pipeline, and in this role you will be working with well-established as well as state of the art breaking edge technologies.Just imagine -As our new Senior SAP Basis System Administrator, you have a challenging position in a creative fashion and retail environment at one of the world's most innovative companies, where you will share responsibility to manage, administer and update existing and future SAP environments and systems.The ICT Department has 25 employees and is responsible for the ICT of the G-STAR organization worldwide.
G-STAR has a wide range of customized and standard applications.
Customized applications are now replaced by standard software packages.
In a team of 9 system administrators, the Senior SAP Basis Administrator will maintain and support the SAP environments and is responsible for 2nd and 3rd line support.YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs the installation, configuration, administration and operation of the SAP ECC & S/4 HANA systems, associated components and 3rd party tools.
Performing SAP system upgrades and patches.
Monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues or possible failures.
Managing batch jobs and improving/optimizing performance and availability.
Maintenance of authorization concepts in the SAP systems.
Knowledge and experience on Solution Manager, and refresh, backup and restore procedures.
Analyzing and handling 2nd and or 3rd level support to internal customers.
Managing and monitoring databases.
Creating and maintaining documentation.
Managing and coordinating change requests.
Managing and creating interfaces.
Collaborating with developers and functional consultants to ensure the smooth functioning of SAP applications.
Providing technical guidance and support to internal end users.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: Ideally a University degree in Engineering and Computer Science.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Certified and in-depth experience with several SAP Modules.
Strong focus on result and the ability to work independently.
Strong team and collaboration mentality with different stakeholders within ICT and other departments.
Knowledge of Linux, AIX, IBM DB2 and HANA
