YOUR MISSION
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SAP Authorization Specialist to join our team in an international working environment. As the SAP Authorization Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our SAP systems by managing and controlling user access and permissions. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP authorization concepts, roles, and profiles to meet Puratos' security and compliance standards.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Authorization Design and Implementation : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes and define SAP authorization requirements.
Assist in the design and implementation of SAP authorization concepts, roles, and profiles in line with security policies and compliance standards.
Ensure that SAP authorizations support business processes while minimizing security risks.
User Access Management : Oversee user access requests, modifications, and terminations in SAP systems managed by the SAP Offshore Authorizations Administration Team.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of user access to ensure compliance with established security policies.
Provide support for user access issues and implement timely resolutions.
Security Compliance : Stay informed of industry best practices and changes in SAP security features to ensure the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal audit teams to support SAP security audits and assessments.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP authorization processes, configurations, and changes.
Generate and analyze reports on user access, authorizations, and security-related metrics.
Collaboration and Training : Collaborate with SAP functional teams, IT, and business stakeholders to understand system requirements and changes.
Conduct training sessions to educate end-users and colleagues on SAP authorization-related topics.
Incident Response and Troubleshooting : Liaise with the SAP Offshore Authorizations Administration Team and ensure the team achieves audit compliance and management-defined performance metrics.
Respond to and investigate security incidents related to SAP authorizations.
Collaborate with IT support teams to troubleshoot and resolve authorization-related issues.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in SAP authorization management.
Stay informed about SAP security trends and recommend enhancements to strengthen the organization's security posture.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an SAP Authorization Specialist or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts, authorization objects, and role design.
Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration points.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to SAP security.
Exposure to S/4 HANA and SAP authorizations in SAP HANA.
Able to work interdependently with little to no direction/guidance.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English is a must - additional language knowledge is a good asset.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
