What you'll be doing As an SAP Application Consultant in the Warehousing Domain, you will implement global solutions in SAP S/4 HANA and will support changes to the current SAP ECC templates. You will be an integral part of the SAP IT team translating Business Requirements into IT Solutions, which will support and optimize the business in its daily operations. Balancing out-of-the-box solutions versus specific business requirements minimizing customizations.
As an SAP Application Consultant - Warehouse Management, you are responsible for the functional design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the software. You have knowledge about complex distribution center issues and optimization and experience in implementing the different phases of Warehouse Management and Extended Warehouse Management. One of the big challenges will be implementing the highest standards at our new global distribution center in Eindhoven. Improving services by optimizing our current GDCs and expanding these will be a main focus in the upcoming years. In addition, business consultants will participate in other projects and daily operations. Your daily to-do list will look a lot like this:
Gather business needs and requirements, and translate business requirements into functional designDevelop, test, document, deliver, and optimize SAP applicationsProvide functional or technical support for users of the application by monitoring the use of the application and helping users to do their work in the most optimal wayDemonstrate, provide training, and guide testing activities and transfer to the communityLiaise with software vendors, third-party specialists, third-party support, technical specialists, application support, and business key usersThe IT SAP warehouse team supports various SAP systems and other applications. Next to the implementation of changes, projects are executed delivering innovation and standardization to Marel Business.
What will you do Collaborate with Business (Process owners, Process experts), other domain consultants, application architects to elaborate on the requirementsBuild effective and productive key business stakeholder relationshipsEarly involvement in solution design and estimationsUnderstand how the IT solution supports the Business Process E2E. Has process and IT landscape expertise on Business unit level as well as functionsAnalyze business processes and requirements and translate into IT solutionsResponsible to maximize the use and acceptance of standard/catalogue-based solutions to support business needs driving industry best practices processesOngoing validation of deliverables against requirements, provide demos and workshopsFlexibly respond to shifting business needs and prioritiesTrain business process experts and ensure availability of training and support materialsPrior to UAT, validate that the solution meets business requirementsWho are we?
