What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced SAP Administrator to join our Infrastructure and Security team in Madrid, reporting directly to the Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Manager.
Mission: Management and administration of SAP environments and HANA, MaxDB, and SQL databases Handling incidents, service requests, problems, change requests, projects, and tasks Management of external SAP Basis service Meeting SLAs and task/project deadlines Support/backup in the areas of infrastructure, communications, and security Responsabilities: Incident, service request, problem, task, and project management User management: onboarding/offboarding, CUA, licensing, roles, authorisations (ERP, GW, BW, BO, HANA), and database permissions Technical communication and coordination with other technical departments Documentation of processes and procedures, and ensuring compliance Support and implementation of system management processes (Backup, Disaster Recovery, Transport Management, Kernel, etc.)
Ensure compliance with SLAs and project/task/other deadlines Ensure timely and correct implementation of technical updates Review system performance statistics, make necessary adjustments and configuration corrections, and run SAP Early Watch Plan and coordinate disaster recovery testing Plan and coordinate high-availability testing Occasional involvement in weekend project execution Manage the implementation of general SAP/database notes/cases and drive technical issues to resolution Review problem situations, identify preventive measures or process, procedure, or tool improvements, and implement them as needed Skills: 1.
