We implement innovative IT solutions for over 7500 Daikin colleagues across Europe the Middle East.The departmentThe Authorization Office team is part of the Corporate Planning department, which supports top-management decision-making in the Daikin Europe Group.
The Authorization Office assists the group headquarters and affiliates with the implementation and monitoring of internal control measures, including Segregation of Duties (SOD) in the common SAP ERP system.
It collaborates closely with Internal Audit, Business Process Owners, and IT in Daikin Europe NV.The Group utilizes SAP as its main ERP system throughout the EMEA Region, supporting over 6000 users.
The Authorization Office safeguards business interests and compliance requirements related to SAP authorizations, aiming to limit SOD conflicts and reduce risks through the implementation of mitigating controls.Key responsibilities of the SAP Access Management Specialist:Daily activities and collaboration with the IT Authorization team during implementation of required changesBuilding expertise on Daikin's SAP authorization concept, analyzing changes due to requests and projects, and ensuring alignment with Daikin's authorization and SOD concepts.
Gathering insights and supporting solutions for SAP authorization incidents.Monitoring and controlling activities:Involvement in complex user SAP authorization requests requiring SOD checks and conflict resolution.Maintaining master data, performing periodic SOD runs, and designing regular checks on the authorization concept and user access to ensure SOD compliance.Creating/updating dashboards and reports to analyze and determine the root cause of SOD conflicts.Detecting unauthorized authorization changes impacting the SOD ruleset.Reviewing periodic controls such as SOD conflicts and user access reviews.Adjusting the Technical SOD ruleset to align with the Business ruleset and creating change requests to improve access segregation.Support with re-designing/improving procedures involving SAP authorization:Maintaining documentation related to SAP authorization processes, continuously improving procedures and guidelines based on best practices, and sharing knowledge with key stakeholders in the authorization processes.Required profile and skills:Master's degree in IT authorizations.Solid analytical capabilities and affinity with business processes.Critical mindset and ability to work independently.Quick learner with self-management and decision-making skills.Ability to form and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.Professional and diplomatic communication skills.Knowledge of SAP authorizations, including FIORI authorization setup.Knowledge of SOD concepts and SAP GRC or other risk compliance tools is a plus.Proficiency with MS Excel is a plus.Daikin Europe is committed to driving sustainable solutions and creating a positive workplace culture.
