WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING The Global Operations area, which includes both the Back Office and Middle Office teams, ensures the end-to-end operational activities to complete the investment cycle until the NAV is published.
The Team has gone through a transformation in the last years where our aim is to share best practices, synergies, and knowledge across all SAM units, so that the information and ways of working are homogeneous and consistent.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts: Maintenance of the data masters, to ensure the proper operations of the systems: Security master, Portfolios and portfolio groups, Users, user groups and permissions.Monitoring and troubleshooting of incidents related to data interfaces between SAM internal and external systems.Elaboration and follow-up of monthly dashboards and reporting.Participation in projects and enhancements of the current processes.Elaboration of DDR to cover new developments.EXPERIENCE Our Operations Analysts typically have track records of outstanding professional performance or academic achievement for more than two years, along with excellent knowledge of Data Management processes, analytical skills, and financial skills as well as strong communication skills. Candidates should have a strong ability to work in a global collaborative environment and to present results to both expert and non-expert audiences.
EDUCATION The ideal candidate should have both financial and technical knowledge, including a degree in Economics, Physics, Maths, or Engineering. Also, a master's in Capital Markets and training in Data Management would be a plus.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE The candidate should have knowledge of the Aladdin (BlackRock) system, Sistema Integrado de Inversiones, or similar fund management systems. Needs to prove that he/she has performed data management tasks and also has been involved in the monitoring and enhancement of data interfaces and processes. Coding skills are required, preferably in Python. Advanced English is necessary.
