The position is permanent and the preferred locations are Greece, Azerbaijan, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Türkiye, Portugal, and Uzbekistan.What You Will Be Doing The Manager, Sales Support at Wärtsilä is responsible for leading and managing the European Services sales support team to ensure efficient and effective support for the sales process.
This role involves coordinating with various internal departments, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring that sales targets are met through strategic planning and execution.
Travelling frequently is also required.As Sales Support Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead and manage the sales support team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Sales Coordination: Coordinate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and plans.
Customer Interaction: Maintain and develop relationships with key customers, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Quotation Management: Oversee the preparation and management of quotations, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and market conditions to senior management.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales support function.
Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales support or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
