It can rely on the proximity to its markets and clients, while leveraging the deep expertise and footprint of GEM and ENGIE globally.Role:The Sales Strategy Manager will lead the commercial strategy for the energy supply business of ENGIE in Iberiaand drive its execution, focusing on client acquisition, contract negotiation, provision of hedging solutions and revenue growth.This role requires expertise in energy markets, particularly in power and gas supply activity, and a proven ability to manage both a team of sales individuals and the relationships with key external clients / internal stakeholders.This rolewill oversee a team of sales professionals, i nteract daily with our customers and work closely with other departments of ENGIE GEMS, including energy management, trading and operations, to ensure the delivery of optimal gas and power solutions to clients.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy and Leadership:Develop and implement the sales strategy to drive business growth in energy supply, with a particular focus on green power and the Spanish market.Build budget figures, define collective and individual objectives, and monitor their progress.Lead and manage the sales team to achieve / exceed revenue targets on a daily basis.Identify new market opportunities and trends in energy supply markets, to adjust the commercial strategy in a timely manner.Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with large energy consumers, businesses, and key stakeholders.Negotiate and structure power and gas supply contracts that meet the needs of clients and internal risk mandates.Business Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the supply sector in Iberia, including potential developments in Portugal.Develop a pipeline of potential clients and follow-up progress in a timely mannerMarket Analysis and Pricing:Monitor power and gas market trends and price movements to help clients designing competitive procurement strategies.Collaborate with the trading desk and risk management teams to structure and price adequate supply products.Regulatory and Compliance:Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance in all sales processes.Work with legal and regulatory teams to navigate changes in market rules and policies.Team Development:Train, mentor, and develop the sales team to enhance their performance and industry knowledge.Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team.Education and professional background:Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the energy sector, particularly in power and gas supply activity.Strong understanding ofelectricity and gas markets, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory environments .Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading successful teams.Excellentnegotiation, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic market environment.Languages:Proficiency in English (B2 level)High proficiency in SpanishIf you meet these requirements, then you are the talent we are looking for.
