Summary: Provide pre- and post-sales support to Olympus sales organisations (sales calls, conducting product demonstrations, system installations, attending exhibitions, etc.)
to secure current sales projects and generate additional revenue for the respective business unit and sales region.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Close cooperation with the Territory Managers of the respective Business Unit of the sales territories for which you are responsible, the IBERIA Market Management, and all other departments involved in the sales value creation process, also across Business Units.Responsibility for the overall result of the respective business unit for the assigned territory and monitoring of the sales pipeline in order to be able to provide information on target achievement at all times.Demonstration of products and solutions and performance of procedures on patients.Monitoring incoming orders and sales in the region and supporting the team with appropriately coordinated sales-promoting countermeasures.Permanent summarisation of data from the sales process in a monthly report.Supporting customers with the application in the areas.Acquisition and training of (new) customers in the above-mentioned procedures as well as imparting system knowledge to gain confidence in action.Induction and training of sales staff in the defined areas.Planning and organising job shadowing together with the Territory Managers.Participation in trade fairs and congresses, in particular trade fairs in your own sales territory and national trade fairs and congresses.Supporting Market & Product Management in carrying out market and competition analyses to evaluate new products and implement marketing strategies.Recording market trends and developing region-specific benefit arguments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Successfully completed studies in Medical Science, such as Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, or other related fields in the medical profession and/or medical technology.Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience as an application specialist/product specialist in the surgical field/area.
In-depth knowledge of the clinical pictures in area X or similar complex specialist disciplines.
Ideally, experience in training doctors and hospital staff.Languages: A medium-high level of English (B2) will be required.Skills: Very good application and product knowledge in the field of microscopy, image processing software, cameras and optics.
