The Surgical Innovations (SI) Division consists of 3 Business Units - Advanced Surgical Technologies (AST), Operating Room Essentials (ORE) and Hernia Care. A Day in the LifeWe have an exciting opportunity to join our Surgical Innovations Division as a Territory Manager (Sales Representative) looking after our Surgical Innovation Portfolio. Principal ResponsibilitiesGain share in your territory in line with the business strategy for FY22.Selling a range of products into assigned accounts and regions within hospitals and related healthcare organizations.Building strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market share, leading through clinical selling.Management of quality and consistency of service delivery.Deliver MDT value proposition and promote brand across the territory.Customer ManagementAchieve agreed budgets, focused on sales growth.Present, in-service and sell products and services to current and potential clients.Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.Business DevelopmentLead with multiple stakeholders selling activities within the territory and identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the contacts to be made.Working mainly in the Theatre environment supporting and advising surgeons and theatre personnel.Support & TrainingPrepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.RequirementsKnowledge/EducationBachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, or other relevant degree.Knowledge of the Medical Industry competitive marketplace.Fluency in English.Must HavesStrong presentation and negotiation skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Full, clean driving license.Self-motivated and able to work in a changing environment.Team oriented.Nice to HavePrevious measurable theatre sales experience with surgical products.About Medtronic: Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
