The ideal candidate will excel at servicing existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management: Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts through effective planning and organization of daily schedules.
Merchandising: Create engaging product displays to stimulate customer interest and drive sales.
Sales Presentations: Tailor sales presentations based on the specific needs of different sales outlets and trade factors.
Market Analysis: Analyse existing and potential sales volumes to focus sales efforts effectively.
Order Management: Submit orders by referencing price lists and product literature.
Reporting: Keep management informed by providing daily call reports, weekly plans, and comprehensive territory analyses.
Competitive Monitoring: Gather marketplace information on pricing, products, and merchandising techniques to stay competitive.
Problem Solving: Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and making recommendations.
Continuous Learning: Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate sales records and contribute to team objectives.
