Your role within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Team is to maintain and develop Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business with existing and new customers in line with the Iberia Business Manager and business strategies in your defined sales territory while meeting or exceeding financial and non-financial targets, in a way that enhances Medtronic's reputation in the market.
This position will cover the Asturias territory, and you will be expected to be located in Oviedo or Gijon.
Responsibilities may include the following: Analyzing the marketplace, developing an effective territory/account sales strategy, and presenting the strategy to management to gain approval for implementation.Performing all activities to maximize sales (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation, as well as identifying, preparing, and executing upcoming tenders.Identifying and addressing all key decision makers (clinical, administrative/economic) and key opinion leaders in all accounts and reporting on them via the provided systems and personally to the district manager on a regular basis.Further increasing penetration in existing accounts, developing existing accounts into potential new product therapies/patient therapies, and developing actual non-buying accounts.Providing technical support to customers (i.e., physicians, consultants, cardiologists) and supporting procedures when required, ensuring that consignment and all other stock levels are properly controlled, according to the asset management guidelines and targets.Planning and preparing sales forecasts by account, product, and therapy for the territory along with proposed meetings/customer activities and investments.Reporting and regularly updating all account, market, competitive information, trends, and metrics in a comprehensive, complete, and timely fashion.Carrying out all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner (i.e., customer reports, stock reports, monthly reports, etc.
).Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or other relevant degreeAt least 2 years of selling experience in the medical device industryAt least 2 years of experience in the Electrophysiology fieldFluency in EnglishProficient with Microsoft Office and other systems applications in data processingSelf-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervisionCompetitive and winning mindsetFull clean driver license3D mapping experience is highly valuedMarketing knowledge is valuablePhysical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
