Our EMEA sales team of the Molecular & Biological Research Division (MBR) is searching for passionate and dedicated salespeople who are looking for the next step in their career!
In this Account Manager role, you will sell our Genomics and Pathology product portfolio to academic, biotech and pharma customers in Spain.
The role is field-based, working closely with a dedicated team of Account Managers, Market Specialists and Field Application Scientists.
Your goal is to drive growth in the region through customer engagement, building and developing opportunities, strategic sales activities and tactics to increase our presence in our customer's labs.
Main ResponsibilitiesSell our Genomics and Pathology product portfolio to customers in Spain, focusing on academic research, biotech and biopharma customers.Achieve sales growth targets by aligning with Agilent Life Science & Diagnostics's Group strategies.Develop unique ways to reach customers and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with them.Drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle, which can vary from days to years.Attend exhibitions, organize on-site customer meetings and demonstrations, and offer portfolio support while coordinating with internal teams.Provide accurate and timely sales reports in CRM systems, sharing insights from the sales territory.Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to identify trends and growth opportunities.Support customers with product knowledge and technical expertise during the sales process.Represent the company in key sales meetings and contribute to business development initiatives.QualificationsMaster's Degree or PhD in Life Science.3-5 years of equivalent experience in a similar role.Technical knowledge in molecular biology and genomics; additional knowledge in cellular biology and/or pathology is a plus.Strategic Selling Competence.Willingness to adopt new ways of connecting with customers.Proven presentation skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build long-term customer relationships.A standout colleague, capable of working independently and collaboratively across teams to support shared business goals.Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.What we offer you:This is a full-time, permanent position.
