At Grafton, we are starting the search for a Sales Manager for a prestigious multinacional company in the energy and sustainability sector.

Scope of the role:

The purpose of the role is closely tied to the development of sales of BIOMETHANE plants in Spain.
The objective of this position is to finalize sales contracts; it requires a solid individual with at least 5-10 years of experience in the relevant sector.
This is a position for someone who will open new markets, as the potential of this market is already known and established.
The individual must be also an excellent negotiator and must successfully close sales contracts for the plants.

Technical skills:

It is important to emphasize that we are not looking for a technical sales professional, but rather someone who understands the sales dynamics involved in closing complex commercial contracts for plants and the related services.
They will be supported by a technical expert if such details are required during the sales process.
The candidate will need to come to Italy at the beginning of his/her assignment to get to know the team, the company, and the products.

Soft Skills:

Team spirit, persuasive ability, honesty, empathy, ability to work in a team, excellent organizational skills, and methodical approach; leadership.

Linguistic skills:

English mothertongue, Italian is a nice to have request.

School education:

Economic or Engineer Degree: Essential requirement: experience working in our sector, specifically in the sale of biogas plants.

Seniority:

10-15 years of experience in working in our sector, specifically in the sale of biogas plants.
