Renowned International travel related company with offices worldwide is looking for an experienced Country Sales Manager for the Spanish and Portuguese markets with experience in the airline industry. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales strategies, activating and promoting a sales & marketing plan. You will maintain regular contact with your customers either through visits, email or telephone/Teams communications, as well as represent the company at relevant local trade fairs and events.
What are we looking for: Airline or Travel Industry Sales experience is a must.Experience in managing a team, high communication and social skills.Cheerful and positive attitude, while being respectful and professional.Expert user in Office 365 (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills).Experience in distribution technologies (GDS, NDC, etc.).Analyze local market and trends.Identify and negotiate with potential partners.Work internally with other office teams as well as the headquarters to maximize business opportunities.Search for new business opportunities and share knowledge across the organization.Regular reporting to the Regional Director.Possibility to work from home, which requires a self-organized person.Desired Skills and Experience: Previous background in the Travel industry is a must!Ambitious, self-motivated, ability to work under pressure, excellent business communication skills, and full independence.Strong experience in B2B negotiations and sales management.Overseeing and monitoring revenue development and budget sales.Written and verbal communication, complemented by presentation prowess.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational aptitude.A high level of fluency in English is essential (Portuguese knowledge is an advantage).Strong sales skills and a proven track record in the local Spanish and Portuguese travel industry.Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, products, and procedures.Ability to travel on duty trips.Hard-worker, organized, self-sufficient, and energetic.Knowledge of marketing, online tools + social media, PR, desirable.Only CVs in English are accepted.
