We want to get onboard in the Signalling Sales Team local market, Position: Sales Manager Mission The Sales Manager position will be responsible for contributing to the developing of new business in the Signaling market, exploiting market opportunities and creating demand. Contacts Internal/External Internal: Bid factory for bid preparation, BU RI (HQ and Local), Engineering, Procurement, BA, etc. External Customers: Public Administration, state-owned companies, civil construction private companies, project integrators companies, partners, consortiums, and competitors. Main Responsibilities Acts as the main interface between the customer and Siemens Rail Automation, providing support to address customer issues. Develops a network of relationships within national railways, governments at national, regional, and local levels, and regional private sector investors. Establishes and maintains relationships with customers and suppliers to identify opportunities for delivery of Signaling portfolio to meet or exceed customer expectations. Establishes commercial agreements with appropriate partners as required. Manages the relationship with project leaders to ensure customer satisfaction. Coordinates with Sales Managers of other BUs for proper business development. Provides feedback to Sales Head and other departments about relevant market facts and events. Develops markets by analyzing potential, defining successful market entry strategies for new systems/products. Elaborates strategic plans to develop the business. Steers Sales activities and builds lasting customer relationships. Prospects relationships with market players to establish Sales and Commercial strategies. Manages the overall bid process for tenders in the Region. Represents the company in forums, events, and associations when needed. Collaboration with Other Teams Collaborates with multiple employees in the Sales team, typically several levels of managers, across one or more major functional areas, groups, and/or operations. Expertise Functional: Deep experience in Sales and Bidding Processes in Railway Signaling Sector. Technological: Technical knowledge of Westrace I/L, ERTMS, CBTC and Rail 9000 Control Center. Other: Proficient spoken and written English; excellent communicationand negotiation skills; travel required
