**Descripción**:
Due to our upcoming opening of Gran Hotel Taoro, 5* luxury hotel in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife), and as part of the ongoing expansion of the hotel portfolio at Abama Resort, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic candiate to take on the Sales Manager MICE position within our cluster sales structure.
**Overall objective of the position**:
- Business development of new leads.
- Manage key accounts.
- Grow sales for the portfolio of hotels witihn the MICE segment.
- Develop and execute hotel sales strategies for the achievement of set targets.
**Core work responsibilities**:
- Analysis of the current customer account base and prospecting of potential target markets for the hotel.
- Identify potential new accounts to grow the business in the hotels of the portfolio.
- Propose strategies and tactics, and implement appropriately to maximise and achieve set objectives.
- Develop creative proposals for MICE requests, quote and follow up to close the business.
- Maintain good relations and communication with Convention Bureau offices as well as MICE organisations and associations.
- Organising and participating in educational trips and inspection visits for the promotion and further positioning of the hotels.
- Participating in relevant events and fairs and identifying actions of interest for the continued promotion of the hotels.
- Coordination of pricing strategy and offers with the Revenue department.
- Handling of the budget items assigned to your charge.
- Participate as required in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Develop promotional materials for attracting business in your markets.
- Communicating effectively to the database with promotions and product and/or operational updates.
- Addressing and resolving any sales related problems or complaints.
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers to encourage business and foster product loyalty.

**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Sales Manager in 4/5* Holiday Hotels.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (C1) is a must, other languages such as German (native or C1) will be highly valued.
- Studies in Hospitality, Sales, Marketing or Sales and Distribution.
- Proven experience in key account management.
- Demonstrate strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Work well with a variety of different people.
- Strong negotiating skills.

Abama Resort Tenerife es un exclusivo resort de lujo en Tenerife de 160 hectáreas con una oferta gastronómica de primer nível y servicio 5 estrellas.
**Objetivo general del puesto**:
- Desarrollo de negocio de nuevos clientes potenciales.
- Administrar grandes cuentas.
- Crecer ventas de los hoteles del portafolio en el segmento MICE.
- Desarrollar y ejecutar las estrategias de ventas del hotel para la consecución de los objetivos establecidos.
**Responsabilidades**:
- Análisis de la base de cuentas de clientes actual y prospección de posibles mercados objetivo para el hotel.
- Identificar nuevas cuentas potenciales para crecer el negocio en los hoteles del portafolio.
- Proponer estrategias y tácticas, e implementar adecuadamente para maximizar y alcanzar los objetivos establecidos.
- Desarrollar propuestas creativas para peticiones MICE, cotizar y hacer el debido seguimiento para el cierre del negocio.
- Mantener buenas relaciones y comunicación con las oficinas de Convention Bureau así como organizaciones y asociaciones MICE.
- Organizar y participar en viajes educacionales y visitas de inspección para la promoción y continue posicionamiento de los hoteles.
- Participación en eventos y ferias relevantes e identificar acciones de interés para la continua promoción de los hoteles.
- Coordinación de la estrategia de precios y ofertas con el departamento de Revenue.
- Manejo de las partidas de presupuesto asignadas a su cargo.
- Participación en la medida requerida en la confección de presupuestos y previsiones.
