ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Manager will report to the Head of Sales of Iberia.
Provide day-to-day interaction between Vestas and targeted customers, ensuring optimal and winning value propositions.Screen and evaluate sales opportunities.Prioritize projects and customers for optimal resource use.Coordinate the entire sales cycle: from identifying potential customers, quoting and optimizing deals to negotiating and concluding contracts for the delivery of wind energy projects.Ensure effective interdisciplinary collaboration in a matrix organization, coordinating and specifying technical, financial, pricing, legal, construction, and service solutions for customers.Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with stakeholders (existing and potential customers, authorities, utilities).Monitor market development and trends.Contribute to the development of Vestas' regional commercial strategy.QualificationsBS/MS degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.5 years of experience in sales in the energy industry, machinery, construction, large infrastructure projects, or large manufactured products. Experience in sales in the wind energy sector is an asset.Solid commercial and legal experience from exposure to/understanding of customers.Fluency in English and Spanish.Strong drive and business acumen.High level of customer focus.Strong negotiation skills and ability to create win-win situations.Ability to build relationships with customers.Good technical understanding.Additional InfoLiving in Madrid is required.Availability to travel is required.
