GLOBAL RECRUITMENT & HR SPECIALISTS ACROSS THE PLASTICS, PACKAGING, PETROCHEMICALS, CHEMICALS, ENERGY AND RECYCLING SECTORS SINCE 1975Homebased GermanyJob ref: JH/62730Salary: Commensurate with ExperienceJob Role:Developing new business in the German market by creating new accounts for the company.Identifying and developing growth opportunities to capitalize on them.Negotiating profitable and long-lasting commercial agreements.Achieving sales targets and growing revenue.Keeping up to date with market trends, regulations, and competitors in the food packaging industry.Collaborating and building relationships with different departments within the company.Prospecting for leads through cold calling and using social media platforms such as LinkedIn.Conducting phone and video conference meetings, creating proposals, negotiating and closing deals.Managing and maintaining client relationships to ensure continued growth and success.Reporting and working closely with the International Sales Director, this role is part of a team responsible for driving new business development in the territories of UK, Central Europe and Eastern Europe.Key Requirements:Proven experience in sales and business development within the German food packaging industry.Sales experience with high value films into cheese manufacturers, sliced meat products, high-value powdered foods, and ready-to-eat food manufacturers (e.G., sauces and ready meals through retort processes).Experience in cold calling, lead generation and appointment setting, and using social media platforms such as LinkedIn for prospecting.Demonstrable track record in achieving new sales.Strong analytical and strategic skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Having your own client portfolio and experience in handling sales worth more than 3 million euros would be an advantage.Fluent in both German and English.Product Experience:MAP lid films with high barrier.Retort lid films.Pouches and films dedicated to high value powder products.For EU roles, candidates must be eligible to work and live in the European Union.
