Basque Country, ESCIDETEC needs to recruit a business developer for the commercialization of an in-house developed battery software tool (PROTEO) in the Energy Materials Unit.

Your Contribution: As a Business Developer Representative, you will be responsible for:
Identifying sales opportunities and profiling prospective customers.Discovering customer needs and driving new business through various outbound campaigns.Following the latest R&D developments of the battery modelling team and exposing new software functionalities to clients.Prospecting clients via the company network, fairs, conferences, and your personal network.Activities: Strategy: Create, define, and implement the sales strategy and policy of PROTEO.Sales and Marketing: Search for and follow-up of strategic and non-strategic customers; negotiate and monitor contracts.Organisation and People: Participate in the development and implementation of the Management Model to improve communication and knowledge sharing.Competitive Surveillance: Analyze the market and competition, defining actions to improve market share.Business Development: Explore and propose market opportunities for PROTEO; manage a portfolio of assigned accounts.What We Offer You: Professional development opportunities.Work with teams at the highest level in local, national, and European settings.Work-life balance initiatives.Continuous training.Variable remuneration package for all employees.Requirements: Education: Mathematics / Physics / Engineering.Languages: High level of written and spoken English.Knowledge: Software sales experience; familiarity with battery field and battery modelling is advantageous.Observations: A highly motivated person with a keen interest in software sales based on research and innovation activities.
You should be able to organize your work, meet deadlines, and achieve established objectives.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
A placement abroad and more than 10 years' work experience in a similar environment will be considered an added value.
