Your Contribution: As a Business Developer Representative, you will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, profiling prospective customers, discovering their needs, and driving new business through various outbound campaigns.
You will be part of a team composed of modeling and experimental researchers, following the latest R&D developments of the battery modeling team, exposing new software functionalities to clients, and transmitting their needs to the R&D teams.
Your Work Will Focus on the Following Activities: Strategy: Create, define, and implement, in conjunction with Management, the sales strategy and policy of PROTEO (activities, services, markets, customer typology, pricing policy, setting of sales targets, etc.).
Responsible for the promotion and image of PROTEO within the market.
Sales and Marketing: Search for and follow up on strategic and non-strategic customers, negotiating and monitoring the company's current and potential contracts.
Promote the image and brand of PROTEO and develop external networking that favors the strategic positioning of PROTEO.
Organisation and People: Participate in the development and implementation of the Management Model to enable the provision of services in accordance with established standards, promoting actions aimed at improving communication, commitment, participation, and sharing of knowledge.
Competitive Surveillance: Analyze and understand the market and existing or potential competition, defining actions to improve market share and the positioning of PROTEO.
Maintain rigorous knowledge of the market and competition, using customer satisfaction studies when appropriate.
Business Development: Explore and propose market opportunities for PROTEO to enable new service activities and revenue streams.
Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts to identify high potential clients.
Educate customers on offerings, execute daily outbound phone calls and emails (often cold calling), and understand prospects' pain points, gathering technical requirements and correlating business needs to available software tools.
