Given the growth plan that they have for the upcoming years, we're looking for a:Sales Manager – Project Business Working in the Flow Control business line, the person will be responsible for promoting and selling Valmet Flow Control products and services (valves and instrumentation), focused on end user companies. Therefore, this role requires strong skills and expertise in negotiating and agreeing on contracts with end user companies.The main tasks will be:Plan and make use of company resources to quote for Refining and Chemical, Renewable and Gases and Metals and Mining markets, both end users and Original Equipment Manufacturers business when applicable.Pursue sales leads, visit existing and new customers to meet sales target levels.Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority.Conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.Act as continuous improvement and health and safety agent.We are actively pursuing an individual who embodies the following qualifications and competencies:A University Degree in an Engineering field is essential. And having experience in dealing and negotiating with end user companies is a must for the successful performance of the role. Also, having experience in Flow Control fields and valves related background will be valued.This dynamic role demands strong problem-solving and communication skills, analytical capabilities, and a collaborative mindset. A keen ability to adhere to established procedures and guidelines, will enable the effective promotion and sale of the organization's products and services. Because this is a global company, fluency in both Spanish and English is a must, with proficiency in other languages being an advantageous asset.This position requires personal qualities related to autonomy, proactivity and initiative. As well as fluid negotiation skills, rapid establishment of credibility and efficient self-management in order to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, internally and externally.As part of the assignment, a willingness to travel across Spain (50-60% of your working time) and occasionally abroad. is essential, rounding out the diverse skill set we are looking for in the ideal candidate.We offer you a stable and strategic position, in a recognized company within the valves industry.
