Position Summary: As an integral member of the EMEA Regional Sales team, your role as Sales Manager will require you to actively engage with existing and new direct gaming operators' merchants, partners, and customers to the Light & Wonder portfolio. You will be a key stakeholder in the growth of the business. It will be your responsibility to meet current quarterly/annual targets as well as drive new business targets and objectives. Constantly taking a proactive approach to relationship building and establishing key contacts within the gaming industry will be key to your success in this role.
The EMEA region for us consists of the UK, France, Spain, South Africa, and Vienna, so the ideal candidate will be based in one of those locations.
Additional Responsibilities: Have strong stakeholder management with our current operators' merchants, partners, and customers ensuring a high quality standard of service.Ensure a strong link between our internal teams and those current merchants/partners and customers as well as new business.Actively engage and onboard new merchants.Actively promote our products and services relevant to the gaming industry.Support product in identifying functionality gaps and new product requirements for the gaming vertical.Grow, monitor, and update your pipeline within the CRM system and ensure that you are on top of your queues.Oversee the submission of complete applications for new merchants.Be the liaison between internal teams and partners/merchants.Participate in any projects that the Gaming team is working on that are relevant to the Sales team and overall Sales targets.Attend gaming-related trade shows and webinars to promote Light & Wonder.Minimum Qualifications: Proven sales experience, preferably with operational experience or equal exposure to the Gaming Industry (understanding or experience of markets, product, customers, competition, regulations).Preferred Traits, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good proficiency in written and spoken English (other regional languages considered an asset).Ability to demonstrate strong sales and negotiating skills alongside interpersonal and communication skills.Experienced in delivering strong product presentations that have led to successful outcomes.Proven experience of meeting sales-based targets will be considered an asset.Ability to take responsibility and ownership of your role and duties with a sense of enthusiasm alongside a positive and resilient attitude.Ability to work independently with good organization, time management, and planning skills, and be able to prove they are capable of driving demand, self-motivated with a good sense of urgency.Ability to work well under pressure to pipeline as well as drive quarterly results effectively.Team player mentality with problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside of the box, showing a keen interest in commercial awareness and acumen.Strong solution-oriented mindset with strong customer relationship management ability to drive performance, targets, and KPIs.Ability to manage different stakeholders at all levels and have key account management experience, familiar with public procurement processes.Work Conditions: This role will require travel to and from prospective merchants throughout Europe and the US to participate in on-site, offsite, and virtual meetings, which could result in evening and weekend work.
