ResponsibilitiesTo achieve budgeted room nights and average rate targets in keeping with the annual budget and sales plan for the Mexican market in Madrid.To conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the Mexican market.Set sales targets and create action plans with Top Producers to achieve our goals.To review, analyze, adapt, and implement these findings with the Senior Director of Sales, potentially taking action to implement counteractions/programs.To maintain and develop effective working relationships with all key industry decision-makers such as Travel Advisors and Travel Agencies.Leads, coordinates, and builds the managed Group Business sales efforts.Proactively manage, qualify, solicit, and book all the requests.Organize and conduct sales appointments/sales calls.Organize and conduct training sessions and presentations for clients.To maintain a high level of prospecting, focusing on the development of new business.Effective management of a portfolio of key accounts through planned sales activities.To maximize sales activities to ensure occupancy, rate, and yield objectives are achieved in accordance with transient sales plan and goals.RequirementsAt least 2-3 years of experience as a leader in sales – Previous Five Star/Luxury Hotel Sales Experience is essential.Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.Must have an established network of connections.Proficient with Salesforce and previous working knowledge of PMS systems.Maintain a professional appearance and conduct personal behavior in a mature professional manner when representing the Hotel or company.Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations; maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Spanish (both verbal and written).Proven negotiation skills required; must be able to persuade and influence key decision-makers in the marketplace.Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will accommodate the achievement of all business goals and directives.BenefitsLaundry service.Free nights in properties of the company.Canteen inside the hotel.
