This is a high-impact leadership role for a strategic and experienced sales professional dedicated to achieving outstanding results in the competitive IT services landscape.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's objectives, identifying target markets and high-potential segments, and exploring new business avenues and partnerships.
Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed revenue targets by closely monitoring sales performance, analyzing data, and making data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team, setting clear goals and providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to drive individual and collective success.
Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities, conducting research to identify market gaps and establish a competitive edge.
Client Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, understanding their needs and addressing any concerns to strengthen partnerships.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment across departments, supporting the seamless execution of sales and customer engagement strategies.
Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the sales budget for the UK region, making data-driven decisions to maximize ROI and allocating resources effectively.
Performance Reporting and Strategy Updates: Regularly present sales performance reports, forecasts, and strategic insights to leadership, offering action plans for continued growth.
Sales Process Optimizations: Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, identifying bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and enhancing overall team efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
15–20 years of proven experience in sales leadership within the IT services industry.
Demonstrated track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Strong strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to developing and executing effective sales strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
