Are you a sales-minded person looking to join an exciting new venture, while establishing effective relations with students from all over the globe? Then this is the job for you! The position is for one of our clients, an international company specializing in bespoke student accommodations that provide leisure, safety, and well-being all under the same roof. A key player in the sector in the UK, our client has recently established themselves in Spain and is looking for a passionate salesperson to join their team in Barcelona.
You will be responsible for launching a successful student accommodation brand in a new market and doing outbound sales through different channels, to offer not only the safest place to live during one's studies but also the best student experience. Effective and collaborative working relationships with local teams in Spain are necessary, as well as with a global sales and marketing department that employs teammates in Manchester, Dubai, and Shanghai as part of a wider international strategy.
TasksEngaging with the student audience and spreading brand awareness around the city of Barcelona.Following up on all inquiries and leads to secure lettings for the accommodation and achieve monthly sales targets.Conducting viewings of the studio apartments to all interested parties.Supporting the marketing team by attending housing fairs and any other on-campus activities or student hotspots.Gaining general knowledge of all the residences to conduct remote outbound sales.RequirementsA native level of Spanish and English is required.University degree or the equivalent.A minimum of 1 year of sales experience.
