As EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) Sales Executive you drive a strategic alignment with key EPC's across Europe and manage their international business opportunities. You will be located either in Spain (Madrid). You develop, and implement the account strategies focused on growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, you collaborate with Sales Colleagues across Hitachi Energy to build customer relationships and deliver a varied opportunity pipeline to fulfil the business goals. The role provides a stimulating mix of activities which require an experienced Sales Professional with the ability to build strong long-term customer relationships.
 
Your Responsibilities: You take care of the development of specific Account Strategies for the Grid Automation business with your nominated accounts to position Hitachi Energy as the partner of choice and drive profitable growth
You drive alignment with the Business Goals and feed into the overall Account Strategy for Hitachi Energy
You create added value for customers and Hitachi Energy by ensuring a coordinated sales proposition across business units
You maintain detailed records of opportunities for your nominated accounts and visibility of business levels in the current and future years
You will be pivotal in setting and delivering the Sales Targets for your accounts and will support & coordinate with the Local Sales Teams to secure local business. You will take responsibility for securing export orders where your nominated accounts are working on international opportunities
You keep up knowledge of growth plans, target markets, and ambitions for each of your accounts & develop and implement the account plan to grow existing markets
You are actively involved in the development of the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, coordination of the communications for your accounts across Europe, sharing best practices, and driving standardization on Hitachi Energy solutions
You coordinate the sales & tendering activities and manage interfaces with operations teams
You develop & maintain detailed knowledge of the customer's business strategy, purchasing behavior, organization, decision-makers, and business drivers
Your Background: At least 5+ years' experience selling Automation Solutions to EPC contractors.
Experience of managing international Sales Opportunities for engineered solutions
A strong knowledge of markets for Automation Solutions for Electrical Networks and Grid Edge Solutions
Experience in coordinating international bid teams to develop innovative tenders
Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
Availability for international travel to visit customers (max. 30%)
A passion for disrupting traditional markets, delivering innovative solutions to secure new business
English and Spanish at fluent level
