1.DEFINITION AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Sales Executive prospects, acquires, monitors and develops a customer base in line with the Group's sales strategy and policy.
2.HIERARCHICAL AND/OR FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS IN THIS POSITION Depending on the organization, the Sales Executive may report to the Sales Director or directly to the Profit Centre Manager.
He/she may be assisted by a Sales Assistant.
3.DUTIES, ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION > The Sales Executive is responsible for : Developing a customer portfolio and building customer loyalty: Canvassing and following up prospects contacted Acquiring new customers: identifying needs, designing the offer, obtaining the contract.
Drawing up the quotations needed to prepare commercial offers Responding to calls for tender Build loyalty and develop existing accounts by regularly monitoring customer needs Helping to optimize margins and profitability Follow up on PCDs Assess the customer's outstanding requirements Produce dashboards, customer reports, statistics, mailings, etc.
> Setting up accounts: - Ensuring that accounts are properly integrated with operational and financial departments and monitoring the quality of service provided - Communicate all useful information (regulatory, commercial and operational developments) to operational and financial departments - Set up the customer's organization and tariffs in the operational tool - Help optimize margins and profitability - Manage customer disputes > Supporting operational staff during the deployment phases for a customer: - Drafting SOPs Ensuring good internal communication: - Working closely with other sales staff to pursue the Group's strategy (sales lead) - Manage customer relations tools - Keeping an eye on the competition in the market - Reporting regularly to your line manager - Possibly set up and take part in sales campaigns 4
